Financial Planning Associate

Ryan Lamontagne Inc. is Ottawa's largest fee-for-service financial planning firm. We specialize in wealth management strategies for emerging affluent and high net worth individuals and families. We work with business owners, executives, professionals and retirees to maximize their financial well-being.

The Associate is responsible for providing support to the Firm`s Financial Planners, and for providing general advice to clients. They will prepare financial modeling and advice documents, conduct research and analysis, prepare tax returns, and write financial plans. The Associate will also meet with individual clients to provide general financial advice and to review income tax returns. All of this work is conducted under the guidance of a Senior Financial Planner. You are a self-starter with a minimum 2 years experience in the financial services industry. You have a university or college degree, and have completed or you are working towards the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. You have superior technical skills and also excel at client servicing. Your experience may include working with financial planning software, tax preparation, investment management, and general financial counselling. You will be working as part of a collegial team of interdisciplinary professionals. We foster a creative atmosphere that encourages growth and personal development. We provide a high level of practice management support with significant opportunity for advancement. Salary Range $40,000 to $45,000 plus bonus.
